Job Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience
  • 0 to 2 years of related work experience
  • knowledge of basic operation of equipment and food-handling procedures preferred
  • ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • good working knowledge of food preparation
  • requires familiarity of kitchen equipment
  • must be able to read and follow a recipe unsupervised

Job Duties

  • Prepare food in accordance with current federal, state and corporate standards
  • follow basic recipes and product directions for preparing, seasoning, cooking, tasting, carving, and serving various food items
  • taste products, read menus, estimate food requirements, check production, and keep records to plan production accurately
  • maintain clean and organized workstation
  • attend work and show for scheduled shifts on time with regularity
  • perform significant walking and standing for extended periods
  • lift and move weights up to 50 pounds as needed
  • perform repetitive motions as required
  • perform additional duties as assigned depending on business needs and client requirements
