The role of Cook is integral to the restaurant's operation. This position involves cooking, preparing, and packaging food products according to established operational criteria and quality assurance standards. The Cook operates various kitchen stations such as the dresser, front swamp, back swamp, grill, and food prep areas, thus performing a variety of tasks essential to the restaurant's daily function. Responsibilities also include adhering to company policies, procedures, and maintaining regular attendance to ensure consistency in service delivery. The candidate is expected to perform cleaning and sanitation duties regularly, including trash disposal, mopping, sweeping, and washing dishes and food preparation tools. The role demands physical stamina for continuous standing, bending, reaching, moving, stooping, stretching, and lifting, alongside frequent exposure to heat, hot liquids, as well as cold environments such as freezers. The flexibility to work irregular hours and willingness to undertake job-related tasks as assigned are key to success in this role. The position reports directly to the Manager on Duty (MOD), who supervises operations and addresses any issues or complaints. Job Duties

  • Cook, prepare, and package food product pursuant to operational and quality standards
  • operate dresser, front swamp, back swamp, grill, and food prep stations as assigned
  • comply with all company policies, procedures, and operational standards
  • perform regular cleaning and sanitation duties including trash disposal, mopping, sweeping, washing dishes and food preparation tools, wiping counters, sanitizing food preparation areas, cleaning equipment, and emptying used grease
  • maintain regular attendance
  • report customer or employee complaints or issues to the manager on duty
  • move and stock food product weighing up to 50 pounds
  • perform other job-related duties as assigned or required
