We are currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join our kitchen team as cooks at Outback Steakhouse. This role is essential to our restaurant's success, as the kitchen staff is responsible for preparing the diverse and delicious menu items that our guests have come to love. With several specialized line cook positions available—including Salad, Fry, Dessert, Sauté, Grill, and Make Up—as well as kitchen prep roles, this opportunity offers a dynamic work environment with clear pathways for growth and development.
Our kitchens are well-designed with large work areas, providing ample space for you to hone your culinary skills while working efficiently. Kitchen team members are expected to prepare food items quickly and accurately, maintaining pride and consistency in each dish that goes out to our guests. In addition to food preparation, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization in your work area, as well as ensuring all equipment is used and cared for properly.
Working as part of a team is fundamental to achieving the high standards we set for food preparation and service. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service role preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks
- Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Basic food safety knowledge
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
- Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and safety standards
Job Qualifications
