The role available is a full-time food service cook position, specifically tailored for those with prior experience in healthcare or institutional food service settings. The chosen candidate will be responsible for preparing food items following weekly menus, production sheets, and approved recipes. This role requires strict adherence to food safety standards and departmental procedures, ensuring proper and sanitary handling of equipment and utensils. The food service cook must be vigilant in organizing production schedules, prioritizing tasks, and efficiently meeting operational demands. An integral part of this role is the capacity to exercise sound judgment and initiative when performing daily and assigned responsibilities, including the correction of problems as needed. This role demands reliability, conscientiousness, the ability to follow directions meticulously, and the stamina to perform repetitive tasks consistently. The position reports directly to the Production Supervisor and supports the broader system and corporate compliance programs, reinforcing the health facility's commitment to safety, environmental protocols, and infection control standards.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum one year experience in food service cooking in healthcare or similar setting
- ability to follow directions
- ability to perform repetitive tasks
- must be reliable and conscientious
- able to organize production schedules
- knowledge of food safety standards
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- vocational training in quantity food preparation and sanitation preferred
- minimum of one year food service cooking experience in healthcare or institutional setting under qualified chef
