As a Cook at Aramark, you become an integral part of a culinary team that is passionate about food and committed to delivering high-quality meals with creativity and precision. In this role, your main responsibility will be to cook and prepare a diverse variety of dishes following production guidelines and standardized recipes, ensuring consistency and excellence in every plate served. You will be expected to use various utensils and kitchen equipment safely and maintain a clean and sanitized work environment. As part of your duties, garnishing, arranging, and portioning food items according to company standards will be a regular task, ensuring that every meal not only tastes delicious but looks appealing. Customer service is also a vital aspect of the role, as maintaining a positive demeanor towards guests, co-workers, and clients is crucial in upholding Aramark’s reputation.

Job Requirements
- experience as a cook or in a related role required
- validated knowledge of the basic principles of food preparation, various cooking methods, and food safety regulations such as accurate food handling, sanitation, and storage
- must be able to acquire food safety certification
- demonstrate basic math and counting skills
- demonstrates interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal
