The Cook position at Reveille Management LLC's Denny's restaurants plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen and the delivery of high-quality food items. Reporting directly to the General Manager and Restaurant Manager, the Cook is responsible for preparing and presenting food orders in accordance with the company's menu and food specifications, while maintaining adherence to strict food safety standards set by federal, state, and local regulations. The role demands a strong understanding of food preparation procedures, inventory management, and kitchen cleanliness to produce meals that meet Denny's Brand Standards.

In this position, the Cook will engage in a variety of key business activities including prepping ingredients accurately with prep charts, maintaining proper food temperatures, and ensuring the consistent rotation and storage of perishable stock. The Cook must be adept at preparing special orders as requested, organizing workstations, and assisting in inventory control and deliveries when necessary. Proper sanitation and maintenance of cooking equipment such as ovens, ranges, fryers, and utensils form an integral part of daily responsibilities. The role encourages teamwork, requiring the Cook to assist service assistants periodically, help co-workers when needed, and provide prompt, courteous service to guests.

Physical stamina and attention to detail are essential for this role, as it involves lifting supplies up to 50 pounds, working within confined kitchen spaces, and tolerating a range of temperature conditions. The Cook must be able to read tickets, recipes, and product specifications accurately while remaining aware of workplace safety procedures, including safe handling of potentially hazardous chemicals. Job Requirements
