Job Qualifications
- experience in food preparation or cooking
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- ability to follow recipes accurately
- good communication skills
- ability to work as part of a team
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- possession of a valid california food handlers card
Job Duties
- cook in assigned areas such as meats, vegetables, pasta and salads
- maintain stock of menu items within assigned area
- read menus and prepare food items accurately and quickly before opening
- maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned kitchen areas
- assist with washing dishes as necessary
- support preparation and closing duties in all back of house areas
- ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
