The company is hiring a Full-Time Cook to work at Seton Medical Center Harker Heights. This is a rotation shift position with morning, afternoon, and evening work periods, including varying days and rotating weekends. The pay is set at $15.00 per hour. In this role, you will be integral to ensuring daily food preparation is carried out efficiently and in accordance with stringent culinary standards. As a Cook at Sodexo, your responsibilities will include preparing, portioning, cooking, and presenting a diverse array of hot and cold food items to accommodate various meal periods and events. This position demands physical stamina, including the ability to stand or walk through long shifts, lift items weighing up to 50 pounds occasionally, and perform repetitive motions typical of food preparation tasks. Attention to detail and the ability to follow recipes independently are necessary to succeed.

- knowledge of basic kitchen equipment operation and food handling procedures

- punctuality and consistent attendance
Job Qualifications

- knowledge of basic operation of equipment and food handling procedures preferred
- ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- good knowledge of food preparation
- familiarity with kitchen equipment
- ability to read and follow a recipe unsupervised
