Job Requirements

  • Valid DOH accreditation or Safe Serve certification
  • Minimum one year of prep/line cook experience preferably in high-volume cafe environment
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Capability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Compliance with all food safety and hygiene regulations

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum one year prep/line cook experience preferably in a high-volume cafe environment
  • DOH accreditation or Safe Serve certified
  • Attention to detail
  • Proven team player with experience working in a collaborative environment
  • Ability to work efficiently in a high-stress, fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Prepare, cook and assemble all food items according to standard recipes and special diet requirements
  • Comply with all sanitation, health and personal hygiene standards
  • Ensure timely delivery of food orders within 10-minute ticket times
  • Collaborate with front-of-house team to coordinate food orders and service
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen stations and equipment
  • Monitor and report food quality issues or product shortages to management
  • Receive and unpack kitchen and food deliveries
