Panda Restaurant Group is dedicated to delivering exceptional Asian dining experiences while fostering an organizational culture grounded in family values and community engagement. The company prides itself on inspiring its team members to improve their lives through meaningful work and career development opportunities. With a strong emphasis on diversity and inclusion, Panda Restaurant Group values equal employment opportunities and makes reasonable accommodations as necessary to support applicants and employees with disabilities. This commitment ensures that all individuals have a fair chance to contribute and thrive within the company.
As a Cook at Panda Restaurant Group, you will play a vital role in the heart of the kitchen and the overall guest experience. Your responsibilities will revolve around preparing dishes with passion, maintaining high-quality standards, and supporting the kitchen team’s efficiency and growth. This fast-paced role provides an exciting opportunity to work in a growth-oriented environment where teamwork and dedication are highly valued. You will be trusted to support the creation of a vibrant and welcoming environment for guests, ensuring each dish is prepared according to company recipes and standards. Additionally, you will guide and assist in training kitchen team members, contributing to their professional development and helping maintain seamless kitchen operations.
This position requires flexibility, as associates often work standing for long periods in a fast-moving setting with high noise levels and hot kitchen environments. Physical demands include the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform tasks that require reaching and quick hands-on skills. Panda Cook associates are recognized as important leaders who embody the company’s spirit through exemplary service, food preparation, and teamwork.
The role is ideal for individuals looking to grow their careers in the food service industry, offering hands-on paid training, ongoing career and leadership development, and opportunities for advancement into management positions. Panda Restaurant Group provides flexible scheduling and a comprehensive benefits package designed to support the health and well-being of its associates. The pay range for this position is competitive, typically between $24.50 and $27.50 per hour, depending on factors such as location and experience. If you are passionate about food, enjoy working in a dynamic team environment, and seek a role with room to grow, joining Panda Restaurant Group as a Cook is a rewarding career choice.
