  • Knowledge of basic operation of equipment and food-handling procedures preferred

Job Duties

  • Prepare food in accordance with current applicable federal, state and corporate standards, guidelines, and regulations
  • Follow basic recipes and product directions for preparing, seasoning, cooking, tasting, carving, and serving soups, meats, vegetables, desserts, and other foodstuffs
  • Taste products, read menus, estimate food requirements, check production, and keep records to accurately plan production requirements and requisition supplies and equipment
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation
  • Attend work and show for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
  • Perform physical duties including significant walking, standing for extended periods, reaching, bending, stooping, pushing/pulling, and lifting up to 35 pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally
  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards
  • Other duties as assigned depending on business necessities and client requirements
