Job Requirements
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience
- 0 to 2 years of related work experience
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Must be able to read and follow a recipe unsupervised
- Ability to perform repetitive motions and physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
- Ability to walk or stand for extended periods, potentially over 8 hours per shift
- Attendance and punctuality for scheduled shifts
Job Qualifications
- High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience
- 0 to 2 years of related work experience
- Knowledge of basic operation of kitchen equipment and food-handling procedures
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Good working knowledge of food preparation
- Must be able to read and follow a recipe unsupervised
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment
Job Duties
- Prepare food in accordance with current applicable federal, state and corporate standards, guidelines, and regulations
- Follow basic recipes and/or product directions for preparing, seasoning, cooking, tasting, carving, and serving soups, meats, vegetables, desserts, and other foodstuffs
- Taste products, read menus, estimate food requirements, check production, and keep records to accurately plan production requirements and requisition supplies and equipment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstation
- Walk or stand for extended periods throughout entire shift which may exceed 8 hours
- Perform repetitive motions and physical tasks such as reaching, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, lifting up to 35 pounds frequently and occasionally lifting/moving 50 pounds
- Attend work and show up for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
- Perform other duties as assigned based on business necessities and client requirements
