Job Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience
  • 0 to 2 years of related work experience
  • Knowledge of basic operation of equipment and food-handling procedures preferred
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Good working knowledge of food preparation
  • Requires familiarity of kitchen equipment
  • Must be able to read and follow a recipe unsupervised

Job Duties

  • Prepare food in accordance with applicable federal, state and corporate standards
  • Follow basic recipes and product directions for preparing, seasoning, cooking, tasting, carving, and serving various food items
  • Taste products, read menus, estimate food requirements, check production, and keep records for planning
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation
  • Stand or walk for extended periods throughout the shift
  • Reach, bend, stoop, push, pull, and lift up to 35 pounds frequently and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds
  • Attend work punctually and show satisfactory regularity
  • Perform additional duties as assigned based on account and client needs
