The role of a Panda Cook is central to the success of the company’s fast-paced, growth-oriented restaurant environments. As a Cook, you become a vital leader and the heart of the kitchen, responsible for preparing food with passion, delivering service with heart, and contributing to the creation of a welcoming ambiance with pride. You will support the kitchen team by guiding and assisting in their training, ensuring all dishes meet company recipes and standards for quality and presentation. Working in a dynamic environment, you will be responsible for all back-of-house operations, helping maintain a vibrant atmosphere for guests and contributing to the overall experience that defines Panda’s reputation. Job Requirements

  • Some high school
  • Prefer some operations experience
  • Local and municipal food safety requirements such as Food Handler certification acquired at applicant's own expense
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Ability to prepare hot and cold foods
  • Ability to use kitchen equipment safely
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment with changing priorities
  • Ability to manage conflicts and difficult situations

Job Qualifications

  • Some high school
  • Prefer some operations experience
  • Food safety knowledge
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective verbal communication skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Job Duties

  • Support in creating a vibrant and welcoming environment for our guests
  • Preparing all dishes to meet company recipes and standards
  • Guiding kitchen team and assisting with their training
  • Performing all back of house responsibilities
