In addition to food preparation, cooks at Popeyes are responsible for maintaining food safety standards by monitoring food quality and temperatures and ensuring clean and welcoming restaurant conditions. Ideal candidates will be able to work various shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays and must be at least 16 years old. Physical demands include lifting up to 60 pounds, standing for extended periods, and consistent hand washing to adhere to safety protocols.

Job Duties

  • Greet guests to make them feel comfortable and welcome
  • take guests’ food orders and handle cash and credit transactions
  • assist the management team in creating a great place to work and delivering memorable guest experiences
  • show your passion for our food by keeping up with product knowledge
  • demonstrate knowledge of the brand and menu items
  • check food quality and food temperatures throughout the day to ensure the food is fresh and safe to serve
  • monitor speed of service to ensure delivery of guest expectations
  • ensure the restaurant is welcoming and clean
  • prepare food for the guest
  • resolve guest recovery issues
