Wesley Enhanced Living is currently seeking a full-time Cook to join their dining team at the Doylestown, Pennsylvania location. This role offers a unique opportunity to blend culinary skills with a genuine passion for serving seniors. The company emphasizes the importance of creating meals that are not only fresh and delicious but also nourishing and thoughtfully prepared, designed to bring joy and enhance the dining experience for every resident. Working full-time with a competitive pay of up to $23 an hour, the position features schedules of 5:30 am to 1:30 pm or 10 am to 6:30 pm from Monday to Friday, excluding weekends.

The Cook at Wesley Enhanced Living will play an integral role in preparing and cooking meals that conform to specific menus and dietary guidelines to ensure residents’ nutritional needs are met safely without compromising taste or presentation. This includes ensuring that meals are served hot, fresh, and on time, thereby contributing directly to the satisfaction and well-being of the senior community. Collaborating effectively with the rest of the dining team, the Cook will also help foster a warm and positive dining environment, improving the overall experience of the residents. This role not only demands culinary expertise but also a heart for service, flexibility to adapt to changing needs, and the ability to work harmoniously within a team-oriented setting.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of cooking experience
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to work a full-time schedule including early mornings or evenings
