As a Cook at Quail Springs Culinary, you will be an essential part of delivering an exceptional dining experience to customers by preparing high-quality meals that conform to the company’s rigorous quality standards. This role involves preparing, seasoning, and cooking a diverse range of dishes in a timely manner, while strictly adhering to hygiene, safety, and sanitation protocols to ensure a safe and efficient kitchen environment. Working closely with the Head Chef and the broader kitchen team, you will help maintain smooth kitchen operations and consistent food quality that defines QSC’s reputation. The role demands physical stamina to manage extended periods of standing, safely move kitchen objects, and navigate around the kitchen workspace effectively. Your contribution as a Cook directly impacts the reputation and success of the culinary operations, making your role critical in upholding the company’s promise of delicious food and excellent service. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience in food preparation and cooking in a professional kitchen
  • Ability to read and speak English to understand recipes and communicate with team members
  • Physical capability to stand for long periods and perform manual tasks safely
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience in food preparation and cooking in a professional kitchen
  • Ability to read and speak English to understand recipes and communicate with team members
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail in food production
  • Experience working under the supervision of a Head Chef or in a similar kitchen environment
  • Formal culinary training or certification
  • Familiarity with a variety of cooking techniques and cuisines
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting
  • Additional language skills to support diverse kitchen teams

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food preparation areas
  • Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
  • Assist the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations and inventory management
  • Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate food production and service
  • Handle kitchen equipment and utensils with care and manual dexterity
  • Stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as climbing stairs and moving objects as needed
