Job Requirements

  • Must meet minimum age requirement and be authorized to work in the United States
  • Ability to bend, reach, stoop, and safely lift up to 30 pounds
  • Capacity to stand for an 8 to 12 hour shift
  • Ability to work in a team environment with attention to detail and multitasking capability

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous cooking or food preparation experience preferred
  • Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
  • Basic knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation standards
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to learn and develop culinary skills

Job Duties

  • Stock and prepare stations and line
  • Clean, sanitize, and organize kitchen area, equipment, and utensils
  • Check quality and freshness of ingredients
  • Prepare, season, and cook food according to recipes, specified quantities, and portion control systems
  • Inspect food preparation and serving areas, utensils, and equipment to ensure compliance with safe and sanitary food handling practices
  • Substitute for or assist other cooks and kitchen positions during high volume periods
