Job Requirements
- Must meet minimum age requirement and be authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to bend, reach, stoop, and lift up to 30 pounds safely
- Capacity to stand for an 8 to 12-hour shift
- Ability to work in a team environment with attention to detail and multitasking skills
- Willingness to comply with food safety and sanitation guidelines
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous cooking or food preparation experience helpful but not required
- Ability to follow recipes and standard food preparation procedures
- Familiarity with food safety and sanitation standards
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Attention to detail and multi-tasking ability
Job Duties
- Accommodate and stock preparation and line stations
- Clean, sanitize, and organize kitchen area, equipment, and utensils
- Check quality and freshness of ingredients
- Prepare, season, and cook foods according to recipes, indicated amounts, and specifications while maintaining portion control systems
- Inspect food preparation and serving areas as well as utensils and equipment to ensure compliance with safe and sanitary food handling practices
- Substitute or assist other cooks and kitchen positions during peak periods
