The facility offers a vibrant community where residents benefit from a variety of services designed to promote wellness, engagement, and comfort. With a focus on fostering independence and improving quality of life, Village at the Falls combines experience-driven care with warm hospitality in a modern, welcoming setting.
We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Cook to join our culinary team. This important role is central to ensuring our senior residents enjoy nutritious, delicious meals tailored to their specific dietary needs and preferences. As a key member of the kitchen team, the Cook will prepare a variety of breakfasts, lunches, and dinners while adhering to established recipes and dietary guidelines that emphasize health and nutrition for seniors. Beyond meal preparation, the Cook collaborates closely with the executive chef and culinary team to plan menus, manage kitchen inventory, and maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.
In this role, you will uphold food safety protocols and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe dining environment for residents. The position also involves mentoring junior kitchen staff and actively participating in kitchen meetings to improve operations and respond to resident feedback. The ideal candidate should have a strong sense of teamwork, excellent organizational skills, and the flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed. Certification in food safety handling such as ServSafe is required, and prior experience or education in culinary arts or nutrition tailored to seniors is highly valued.
This full-time opportunity offers a competitive salary based on experience along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plan options, paid time off, holiday pay, and opportunities for professional development and training. Village at the Falls prides itself on being an equal-opportunity employer that values diversity and inclusivity in the workplace. If you have a passion for cooking and a desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors, we encourage you to apply and join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences for our residents.
