Job Requirements

  • Must meet minimum age requirement and be authorized to work in the United States
  • Ability to bend, reach, stoop and safely lift up to 30 pounds
  • Capacity to stand for an 8 to 12 hour shift
  • Ability to work as part of a team with attention to detail and multitasking skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous cooking experience in a restaurant or similar food service environment preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to follow recipes and portion control guidelines
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Good communication and teamwork skills

Job Duties

  • Accommodate and stock preparation and line stations
  • Clean, disinfect and organize kitchen areas, equipment and utensils
  • Check quality and freshness of ingredients
  • Prepare, season and cook food according to recipes, correct amounts and specifications while maintaining portion control systems
  • Inspect food preparation and serving areas, utensils and equipment to ensure compliance with safe and sanitary food handling practices
  • Substitute or assist other cooks and kitchen positions during busy periods
