The Cook position available at the Boston Scientific MG location in Maple Grove, MN, offers a full-time employment opportunity, scheduled Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 2:00 pm. This role is critical in ensuring the preparation and delivery of high-quality food products while adhering to federal, state, and corporate standards. As a Cook at Eurest, you will be responsible for preparing food items according to standardized recipes and protocols, ensuring consistency, quality, and food safety standards are met. You will operate kitchen equipment, maintain cleanliness, and manage inventory in compliance with safe food handling guidelines. This role demands experience in high-volume food preparation, specifically in deli, pizza, and prep areas, as well as a strong commitment to teamwork and communication with coworkers and management. Job Requirements

  • Previous high volume prep, deli and pizza experience
  • Ability to work full time Monday through Friday 6:00 am to 2:00 pm
  • Must be able to perform job duties safely and efficiently
  • Willingness to follow all company safety policies and procedures
  • Ability to use medium weight cut gloves, oven mitts, and slip-resistant shoes
  • Willing to undergo any necessary background screening
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States

Job Duties

  • Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules
  • Serves meals or prepares for delivery using correct portioning, ensuring food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty
  • Uses established ticket collection procedures during service and manages records accordingly
  • Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high standards of cleanliness
  • Stores or discards excess food in accordance with safe food-handling procedures
  • Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and organized, ensuring proper storage of food and supplies
  • Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed
  • Assists in production planning, record keeping, and ordering supplies
  • Reports maintenance issues and attends safety meetings
  • Maintains good working relationships with coworkers and supervisors
  • Ensures proper presentation, portion control, and following HACCP standards
  • Commits personally to safety and adheres to company safety policies
