Job Requirements
- Previous high volume prep, deli and pizza experience
- Ability to work full time Monday through Friday 6:00 am to 2:00 pm
- Must be able to perform job duties safely and efficiently
- Willingness to follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Ability to use medium weight cut gloves, oven mitts, and slip-resistant shoes
- Willing to undergo any necessary background screening
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- Previous high volume prep experience
- Experience with deli and pizza preparation
- Ability to follow standardized recipes and food safety guidelines
- Experience operating kitchen equipment
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and safety standards
- Basic knowledge of production planning and inventory management
- Ability to adhere to company policies and procedures
Job Duties
- Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules
- Serves meals or prepares for delivery using correct portioning, ensuring food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty
- Uses established ticket collection procedures during service and manages records accordingly
- Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Stores or discards excess food in accordance with safe food-handling procedures
- Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and organized, ensuring proper storage of food and supplies
- Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed
- Assists in production planning, record keeping, and ordering supplies
- Reports maintenance issues and attends safety meetings
- Maintains good working relationships with coworkers and supervisors
- Ensures proper presentation, portion control, and following HACCP standards
- Commits personally to safety and adheres to company safety policies
