Job Requirements

  • Must meet minimum age requirement and be authorized to work in the United States
  • Ability to bend, reach, stoop and safely lift up to 30 pounds
  • Capacity to stand for an 8 to 12-hour shift
  • Ability to work collaboratively with attention to detail and multitasking skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior experience in food preparation or a related kitchen role is advantageous
  • Ability to follow recipes and portion control guidelines accurately
  • Knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation practices
  • Capability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Basic understanding of kitchen equipment and maintenance

Job Duties

  • Accommodate and stock preparation and line stations
  • Clean, disinfect and organize kitchen area, equipment and utensils
  • Check quality and freshness of ingredients
  • Prepare, season and cook foods according to recipes, indicated quantities and specifications maintaining portion control systems
  • Inspect food preparation and serving areas as well as utensils and equipment to ensure compliance with safe and sanitary food handling practices
  • Substitute or assist other cooks and kitchen stations during peak periods
