Job Requirements
- Must meet minimum age requirement and be authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to bend, reach, stoop and safely lift up to 30 pounds
- Capacity to stand for an 8 to 12-hour shift
- Ability to work collaboratively with attention to detail and multitasking skills
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in food preparation or a related kitchen role is advantageous
- Ability to follow recipes and portion control guidelines accurately
- Knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation practices
- Capability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Basic understanding of kitchen equipment and maintenance
Job Duties
- Accommodate and stock preparation and line stations
- Clean, disinfect and organize kitchen area, equipment and utensils
- Check quality and freshness of ingredients
- Prepare, season and cook foods according to recipes, indicated quantities and specifications maintaining portion control systems
- Inspect food preparation and serving areas as well as utensils and equipment to ensure compliance with safe and sanitary food handling practices
- Substitute or assist other cooks and kitchen stations during peak periods
