Responsibilities include setting up and stocking preparation and line stations, cleaning and sanitizing kitchen spaces, and ensuring compliance with safe food handling practices. This role requires a strong team-oriented approach, the ability to multitask efficiently, and physical endurance such as standing for long hours and handling moderate weights safely. Job Requirements
- Must meet minimum age requirement and be authorized to work in the United States
- ability to bend, reach, crouch, and safely lift up to 30 pounds
- capacity to stand for an 8 to 12 hour shift
- ability to work as part of a team with attention to detail and multitasking capabilities
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in a food preparation role preferred but not required
- knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation practices
- ability to work effectively in a team environment
- strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- basic communication skills
- willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Job Duties
- Accommodate and stock prep and line stations
- clean, sanitize, and organize kitchen area, equipment, and utensils
- check quality and freshness of ingredients
- prepare, season, and cook food according to recipes, specified quantities, and instructions while maintaining portion control systems
- inspect food prep and serving areas, utensils, and equipment to ensure compliance with safe and sanitary food handling practices
- substitute or assist other cooks and kitchen positions during busy periods
