Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1 to 2 years of cooking experience preferred
  • Food Handler or ServSafe Certificate
  • Ability to follow recipes and menu specifications accurately
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items
  • Commitment to food safety and sanitation practices

Job Qualifications

  • 1 to 2 years' cooking experience preferred
  • Above average food production skills
  • Food Handler or ServSafe Certificate

Job Duties

  • Responsible for daily food production
  • Perform basic food preparation items such as stocks, soups and vegetables
  • Understand and prioritize residents' preferences
  • Perform tasks error free and meet quality standards
  • Follow menu specifications
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen
  • Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are upheld
