The role of Cook at Leisure Care is pivotal to the dining experience, focusing on daily food production and ensuring that every meal meets the highest quality standards. This position demands team-oriented individuals with experience in cooking who can handle basic food preparation including stocks, soups, and vegetables, and who understand and prioritize residents' preferences. The Cook plays a crucial role in maintaining food safety and quality by following menu specifications and performing all tasks error-free. This role is designed for an individual who possesses above-average food production skills and holds essential certifications such as a Food Handler or ServSafe Certificate. The Cook will contribute directly to the residents' overall satisfaction and enjoyment, enhancing their daily lives through care in food preparation.
