The role of Cook involves preparing and seasoning food according to recipes and specifications, ensuring portion control, and maintaining cleanliness and organization of preparation stations and equipment. During peak hours, flexibility to assist or substitute for other cooks or kitchen positions is necessary. Job Requirements

  • Meet minimum age requirement and be authorized to work in the United States
  • Ability to bend, reach, stoop and lift up to 30 pounds safely
  • Capacity to stand for 8 to 12 hour shifts
  • Ability to work in a team with attention to detail and multitasking capacity

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in a kitchen or food preparation environment preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to follow recipes and cooking procedures accurately
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with ability to multitask

Job Duties

  • Accommodate and stock preparation and line stations
  • Clean, disinfect and organize kitchen area, equipment and utensils
  • Check quality and freshness of ingredients
  • Prepare, season and cook food according to recipes, quantities and specifications while maintaining portion control systems
  • Inspect food preparation and serving areas, utensils and equipment to ensure compliance with safe and sanitary food handling practices
  • Substitute or assist other cooks and kitchen positions during peak periods
