At Sodexo’s P&G facility in Browns Summit, the Cook role is a vital position that supports the organization’s commitment to delivering high-quality dining experiences in a dynamic and fast-paced setting. This full-time position offers an hourly pay rate of $18, reflecting Sodexo’s recognition of culinary talent and dedication. Working varying shifts with open availability preferred, the Cook will engage in preparing a wide assortment of hot and cold food items for multiple meal periods and special events, following established culinary standards for quality, presentation, and consistency.

The role demands strong kitchen teamwork, a keen eye for detail when tasting and seasoning food, and the ability to estimate and requisition supplies as needed. The position requires physical stamina, such as standing and walking for extended periods, performing repetitive motions, and handling weight lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Sodexo values employees who show reliability and punctuality, with attendance and shift readiness being critical aspects of the role. The Cook also plays an important part in maintaining a clean and organized workstation, contributing to both the efficiency and safety of the overall kitchen operation. Additional duties may be assigned based on business needs and client-specific requirements, showcasing the flexibility and adaptability expected in this position.

Emphasizing personal and professional growth, Sodexo provides its employees with robust training, development opportunities, and potential career advancement pathways. The company offers a flexible and supportive work environment that respects life’s important moments outside of work. Benefits include paid time off, holidays, comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, tuition reimbursement, 401(k) plans, employee discount programs, and more. Some locations may offer additional perks such as free meals or allowances, uniforms, safety shoes, and transportation support.

Sodexo’s foundational values focus on fairness, respect, and inclusion, ensuring every employee’s voice and individuality are valued.
