Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Cook to join our culinary team. This role is an integral part of our kitchen operations, focused on preparing and producing menu items promptly, accurately, and to our exacting standards. The Cook will be responsible for cooking a variety of foods including salads, appetizers, sandwiches, hot dogs, pizza, and more. This position demands knowledge and proficiency in various cooking stations such as fry cook, broiler, and Garde Manager. Meticulous attention to detail is necessary to control food production processes, ensuring proper cooking methods, timing, and temperature are consistently adhered to.

The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment and be dedicated to maintaining cleanliness and sanitation protocols, including proper kitchen maintenance. This role requires teamwork, coordination with co-workers, and the ability to handle physical demands such as lifting heavy items and operating kitchen equipment. Candidates are expected to have a local health department sanitation certificate and be proficient with kitchen utensils and appliances. Job Qualifications

  • Six months prior experience as a cook or cooks helper
  • Previous working knowledge of point of sales system preferred

Job Duties

  • Prepare and produce menu items to standards in a quick and efficient manner
  • Prepare items such as salads, appetizers, sandwiches, hot dogs, pizza, etc
  • Prepare, cook, and season all food
  • Perform fry cook, broiler, and Garde Manager duties
  • Control food production including cooking methods, times, and temperature
  • Adhere to kitchen maintenance and sanitation programs
  • Maintain assigned station and equipment clean and sanitary
