Job Requirements

  • high school diploma ged or equivalent experience
  • 0 to 2 years of related work experience
  • ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • knowledge of basic kitchen equipment operation and food-handling procedures
  • ability to work in fast-paced environment and perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
  • reliable attendance and punctuality

Job Qualifications

  • knowledge of basic operation of kitchen equipment and food-handling procedures
  • ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • good working knowledge of food preparation
  • must be able to read and follow recipes independently
  • familiarity with kitchen equipment

Job Duties

  • prepare food according to federal state and corporate standards
  • follow recipes and product directions for cooking seasoning tasting carving and serving various foods
  • taste products read menus estimate food requirements check production and keep records for planning and requisitioning supplies
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation
  • comply with food safety and sanitation standards
  • perform physical tasks such as walking standing bending lifting up to 50 pounds and repetitive motions
  • attend work regularly and be punctual for scheduled shifts
