Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in food preparation or related field
- Ability to work under general supervision
- Physical ability to perform cleaning and food preparation tasks
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Good communication skills
- Availability to work flexible hours if needed
Job Qualifications
- Experience in food preparation and kitchen management
- Knowledge of nutrition and dietary requirements
- Ability to coordinate and supervise staff
- Understanding of food safety and sanitation standards
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Previous experience working in community or senior centers preferred
Job Duties
- Prepare entrees and oversee preparation of all meal items
- Collaborate with Center Director to develop monthly menu
- Coordinate duties and schedules of meal preparers
- Check supplies and maintain inventory rotation
- Prepare supply list for purchases to ensure availability of food and supplies
- Perform routine cleaning of equipment and kitchen
- Maintain sanitary practices following Food Service Permit standards
