Job Duties
- Ensure proper preparation, portioning and serving of food according to standardized recipes and menus
- Use cutting tools, cookware and bakeware safely and effectively
- Apply cooking procedures and methods including grilling, baking, and boiling
- Adhere to all sanitation and food safety standards
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Prepare food in a timely manner meeting scheduled meal times
- Collaborate with dietary and kitchen staff to meet residents' nutritional needs
