  • Prior cooking experience preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours including mornings and weekends

Job Duties

  • Ensure proper preparation, portioning and serving of food according to standardized recipes and menus
  • Use cutting tools, cookware and bakeware safely and effectively
  • Apply cooking procedures and methods including grilling, baking, and boiling
  • Adhere to all sanitation and food safety standards
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
  • Prepare food in a timely manner meeting scheduled meal times
  • Collaborate with dietary and kitchen staff to meet residents' nutritional needs
