The Cook position at The Ashford at Sturbridge, a Wallick community, offers a full-time opportunity for candidates passionate about making a difference in senior living. As a Cook at The Ashford at Sturbridge, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness of large kitchen equipment, ensuring food quality through temperature checks and taste tests, and overseeing portion control during preparation and serving. You will set up food in steam tables and replenish supplies as needed, ensuring meals are always fresh and available for residents. When the Chef is unavailable, you will act as the person in charge, taking on a leadership role within the kitchen team. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety and sanitation standards, and the ability to perform other related duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and one to two years of institutional or restaurant experience.
