Job Duties

  • prepare hot choice buffet products according to recipes and procedures
  • grill all items to ensure quality
  • ensure all fried products are fresh and hot
  • restock items at the display cooking station if needed
  • assist guests with carved meat options when required
  • maintain correct temperature during cooking and serving
  • use production guides for inventory management
  • conduct opening and closing procedures
  • maintain equipment properly
  • restock and rotate food products using FIFO method
  • take inventory and check with manager
  • ensure cleanliness of hot cook area and smallwares
  • perform duty roster to meet standards
  • follow health department laws
  • keep char grill clean for sanitation
  • ensure products are always hot and fresh
  • know and follow just-in-time delivery responsibilities
  • maintain friendly and courteous guest interaction
  • maintain professional communication
