Job Requirements

  • Must have previous kitchen experience
  • Sanitation certified (ServSafe) or ability to obtain certification within 30 days of hire
  • Must be flexible and accommodating to residents and guests
  • Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions
  • Must have a solid work ethic, positive attitude, and be a good team player

Job Duties

  • Follow written recipes and prepare high quality, delicious, and nutritious menu options
  • Assist in developing menus and special meals, following a daily prep list
  • Help the Dining Director/Executive Chef with inventory and ordering
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary working environment, including cleaning equipment and attending to dirty dishes timely
  • Assist with various cooking methods including baking, frying, cold salad preparation, sautéing, and general short order cooking
