The role being offered within this vibrant hospitality setting is that of a Cook, a fundamental position within the hotel's culinary team responsible for preparing and cooking food items in accordance with established recipes, quality standards, and safety protocols. The Cook plays a crucial role in maintaining the reputation of the Autograph Collection by ensuring that guests receive excellently prepared meals that reflect the hotel's premium standards. This position involves various food preparation responsibilities, such as portioning, chopping, washing, and storing ingredients, as well as utilizing kitchen appliances including ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers. The Cook is also tasked with tasting food to ensure proper cooking, monitoring food quality, and presenting dishes attractively to uphold brand hospitality standards.

Apart from food preparation duties, the Cook supports the overall cleanliness and safety of the kitchen by washing and disinfecting tools, knives, and surfaces, checking appliance and food temperatures, and adhering to all company safety and security policies. The role requires physical stamina to stand, sit, or walk for prolonged periods and the ability to perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, lifting, and carrying objects weighing up to 25 pounds safely. Communication skills and teamwork are emphasized, as the Cook collaborates with team members to achieve shared goals while maintaining professional interactions and confidentiality.
