Job Description

Dial is a dedicated senior living community focused on creating a positive and nurturing environment for its residents and team members alike. As a reputable establishment, Dial fosters a culture of care and respect, ensuring that every interaction is meaningful and contributes to the well-being and happiness of the seniors they serve. The organization prides itself on offering a supportive workplace where team members have the opportunity to learn from experienced seniors and colleagues, forming a close-knit community that transcends typical employer-employee relationships. Employees at Dial are encouraged to take pride in making a tangible difference by not just extending the years of a resident's life but enriching the quality of those years with compassion and dedication.

The Food Preparation role at Dial is pivotal in maintaining and enhancing the nutritional well-being of residents. This position involves preparing food daily according to a carefully planned weekly menu that emphasizes variety and nutrition tailored to the specific dietary needs of older adults. The role requires adapting recipes to meet special dietary needs while ensuring low sodium and attractive presentation to promote appetite and satisfaction among residents. Food preparation staff are responsible for meticulous portion control aligned with budgetary constraints and proper food handling to uphold infection control standards. The role is also collaborative, involving communication with supervisors and other team members to forecast food and supply needs, maintain a clean kitchen, and ensure smooth daily operations. Additional responsibilities include serving food, managing equipment functionality, supporting resident engagement, and maintaining confidentiality with sensitive information.

Dial offers a comprehensive benefits package that enhances job satisfaction and supports the health and financial security of its employees. Benefits include paid time off for birthdays and anniversaries, tuition assistance programs to encourage personal development, double pay on holidays, and PTO accrual from day one to support work-life balance. Referral bonuses and loyalty incentives reward commitment and contribution, while employee recognition programs foster a motivating workplace culture. Employees enjoy free meals during shifts, discounts from major service providers like Verizon and AT&T, and access to financial wellness programs such as pay advance options and a 401K plan. There is also robust medical coverage encompassing prescription drug, dental, and vision insurance, alongside basic term life and accidental death and dismemberment insurance. Flexible spending accounts further help employees manage dependent care costs effectively, making Dial a supportive and rewarding employer for those passionate about serving seniors and growing their careers in a caring environment.
