Job Duties

  • Complete all prep work related to the menu for breakfast, lunch, dinner
  • Communicate with the Chef regarding specials for the day, special instructions, forecasts, and reservations
  • Control food usage to minimize waste
  • Prepare and cook orders in accordance with portion and quality standards specified in recipes
  • Advise supervisor of low inventory items
  • assist in receiving items and taking inventory as required
  • Complete daily cleaning and sanitize all areas of the kitchen
  • Maintain a clean, neat and well-organized work area, including but not limited to reach-ins, walk-ins and counters
  • Ensure all foods are stored in proper containers and shelving order
  • Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety, and other statutory regulations
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and associates
  • Maintain a clean, pleasant, and professional image to the guest
  • Assist by performing dish washing or other kitchen duties as needed
