Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a cook preferably in healthcare style setting
- Proficient in food handling requirements and standards
- Ability to prepare meals from breakfast to dinner on a large scale
- Capability to follow and create recipes for specialized diets
- Must pass drug and background screenings
- Availability for 5:00 am - 1:30 pm or 11:00 am - 6:00 pm shifts
Job Qualifications
- Experience as a cook preferably in a healthcare setting
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards
- Ability to prepare meals for diverse dietary needs
- Recipe development skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Job Duties
- Prepare meals from breakfast to dinner on a large scale
- Follow and create recipes for a wide variety of diets
- Ensure compliance with food handling requirements and standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen
- Collaborate with dining services team to provide excellent dining experiences
- Pass drug and background screenings
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies
