The day-to-day responsibilities include neatly preparing ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling food items, then cooking using various methods such as baking, roasting, broiling, and steaming. Presentation is also key, so arranging, garnishing, and portioning meals accurately according to guidelines is essential. At Aramark, safety and hygiene are paramount; hence, following food safety policies rigorously, including proper food storage and sanitation procedures, is mandatory. The Cook will maintain clean and sanitized work areas and equipment while adhering to established safety and sanitation standards to ensure a safe working environment.

Job Requirements
- Experience as a cook or in a related role
- validated knowledge of the basic principles of food preparation, various cooking methods, and food safety regulations
- ability to acquire food safety certification
- basic math and counting skills
- strong interpersonal communication skills
- physical ability to perform lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking or standing
- willingness to wear required uniforms and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
