The role of Cook at Rawls Course focuses on delivering high culinary standards, ensuring quality food production, and maintaining operational sanitation. As a cook, you will be involved in learning and upholding food preparation techniques and standards, expediting food orders efficiently to maintain timeliness, and preparing dishes according to established recipes to guarantee consistency in product quality. You will actively participate in scheduled banquet functions, contributing to team efforts at various events, while ensuring that all safety and sanitation protocols are strictly followed.

The position requires collaboration with the culinary team, professional conduct with associates, and communication about equipment maintenance or repair needs. Attention to inventory management and waste reduction is essential to maximize productivity and maintain resource efficiency. The candidate will be responsible for checking the receipt and quality of food deliveries, verifying that storage areas are properly maintained and sanitized, and preparing food according to production forecasts and plans.

  • prepares items in accordance with established recipes for a consistent product
