Job Requirements
- Minimum two years of culinary experience
- Actively working in the culinary field not someone who has been out of the industry for an extended period
- Ability to follow detailed recipes and dietary guidelines
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
- Willingness to learn and strong work ethic
- Ability to interpret standardized recipes and instructions
- Must be 18 years or older
- Successful completion of caregiver background check and drug screening
- Willingness to obtain flu shot within 30 days during flu season

Job Duties
- Assist in meal preparation including setting up lunch and dinner while following recipes accurately
- Adhere to dietary guidelines and ensure that meals meet resident preferences and nutritional needs
- Maintain cleanliness organization and safety in the kitchen and dining areas
- Work as part of a team to ensure timely and high-quality meal service
- Model professionalism collaboration and hospitality in every interaction
- Prepare all soups stocks sauces boils braises and roasts items as per standardized recipes
- Prepare and serves all sauteed fried grilled steamed and baked items as per standardized recipes
- Plan food production to coordinate with meal serving hours so that excellence quality temperature and appearance of food is preserved
- Determine amount and type of food and supplies required for daily menus and obtaining from storage areas in adequate time for meal production
- Assist other cooks to ensure that meal service is completed in a timely manner
- Efficiently resolving problems with resident orders
- Complete all necessary logs and quality assurance checklists and ensure proper food storage with date and labels when not in use
