Founded with the mission to provide exceptional food along with outstanding service, Raising Cane's has become a popular destination for customers seeking quick, delicious meals in a welcoming atmosphere. The company prides itself on fostering a team-oriented culture where employees feel valued and empowered to contribute their best. The fast-paced nature of Raising Cane's restaurants encourages teamwork, enthusiasm, and dedication, making it an exciting place to build a career in the foodservice industry.
As a Cook at Raising Cane's, you will play a vital role in maintaining the pace and quality of the restaurant's operations. This position offers an entry-level opportunity with a starting wage of $16.00 per hour, making it accessible to individuals without prior restaurant experience while also welcoming seasoned foodservice professionals. The role primarily involves preparing and cooking the famed Raising Cane's chicken finger meals, sustaining the highest standards of cleanliness and food safety, and actively contributing to the upbeat and fast-moving kitchen environment. With a fun atmosphere where music is often part of the day, working as a cook at Raising Cane's is not just about hard work—it’s also about enjoying the process alongside your team members.
Raising Cane's also emphasizes career growth for its cooks, giving them a chance to advance into more specialized and leadership roles such as Bird Specialist or Certified Trainer. Employees can expect ongoing paid training to improve their skills, along with performance-based pay increases within the first year. The company seeks individuals who are hardworking, responsible, and enthusiastic, with excellent communication skills and a positive attitude. They look for authentic team players who take pride in doing a good job and are dependable and attentive to detail.
Working hours are flexible and cover all shifts including opening, closing, and everything in between, catering to a variety of schedules. The fast-paced, energetic environment requires cooks to be able to multitask, follow safety protocols rigorously, and show up on time ready to contribute. Beyond preparing food, cooks also participate in general cleanliness duties such as cleaning tables and floors to ensure the restaurant stays inviting for guests. Raising Cane's values a balance of working hard and having fun, reflecting in their approach to employee satisfaction and customer service.
In addition to offering competitive pay, Raising Cane's provides a range of benefits for hourly crew members including access to medical, dental, vision, and life insurance options through a voluntary marketplace, a 401(k) plan with employer match, financial advising services, assistance programs, education support, and even unique perks like pet insurance and gym memberships. The company culture encourages flexibility and respects work-life balance with paid time off and holiday closures at many locations. At Raising Cane's, every crew member is appreciated for their individuality and contribution to building a positive dining experience for every customer.
