Job Requirements
- must be at least 18 years old
- ability to communicate effectively in English
- capacity to remain standing and mobile for up to four hours
- ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds safely
- willingness to wear protective hand and face coverings throughout shift
- ability to work in hot and damp conditions
- compliance with health and safety protocols
- commitment to punctuality and reliability
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous cooking or kitchen experience an asset
- ability to communicate clearly and work well in a team environment
- understanding of basic food safety and hygiene practices
- strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain quality standards
Job Duties
- prepare and cook menu items according to company recipes and standards
- maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and work areas
- communicate effectively with team members and dining staff
- operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- assist in inventory management and stock replenishment
- adhere to food safety and health regulations
- contribute to a positive and fast-paced work environment
