Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1-3 years cooking experience
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift kitchen supplies
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Willingness to comply with organizational policies
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-3 years cooking experience
- Experience in banquet cooking is a plus
- Ability to follow detailed recipes
- Experience working in a health care facility preferred
- Strong organizational skills
- Team player with good communication skills
Job Duties
- Prepare meals following standardized recipes for a three-meal dining operation
- Work all kitchen stations including soups and sauces
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Assist with banquet and special event meal preparations
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service
- Manage inventory and assist with ordering supplies
