Job Requirements
- Previous experience in a commercial kitchen required
- Healthcare, institutional, or high-volume cooking experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards (ServSafe preferred)
- Ability to work independently and prepare meals for large groups
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
- Pass drug test and background check

Job Duties
- Prepare and cook daily lunch and dinner for approximately 60 residents
- Plan and execute meals including a main entrée, one side dish, and one vegetable
- Ensure meals meet portion, nutritional, and dietary guidelines as directed
- Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation
- Follow all food safety and sanitation regulations
- Manage time efficiently to ensure meals are prepared and served on schedule
- Monitor food inventory and communicate supply needs as necessary
- Collaborate with kitchen assistant on dishwashing, cleaning, and salad bar maintenance
