Job Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • One year food service experience or equivalent
  • Food Handler Permit (NV) within 30 days of hire
  • Ability to follow food safety regulations and dietary guidelines
  • Capability to work in a fast-paced healthcare food preparation environment
  • Physical ability to perform kitchen duties including cleaning and food handling

Job Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • One year of food service experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proven experience in high-volume food preparation
  • Strong understanding of food safety and therapeutic diets
  • Ability to follow recipes and adhere to quality control measures
  • Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe food preparation environment
  • Food Handler Permit (NV) or ability to obtain within 30 days

Job Duties

  • Prepare and serve food within menu and dietary guidelines using kitchen utensils and equipment
  • Modify food preparations to accommodate allergies
  • Follow healthcare foodservice industry standards, regulations, and guidelines
  • Monitor and maintain food temperatures during cooking, holding, and storage
  • Avoid cross-contamination and ensure personal hygiene compliance
  • Maintain labeling and proper storage of food, equipment, and machinery
  • Perform washing and cleaning duties to maintain sanitation and cleanliness
