Job Requirements

High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience
0 to 2 years of related work experience
Knowledge of basic operation of equipment and food-handling procedures preferred
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Good working knowledge of food preparation
Requires familiarity of kitchen equipment
Must be able to read and follow a recipe unsupervised

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

Prepare food in accordance with applicable federal, state and corporate standards
Follow recipes and product directions for seasoning, cooking and serving soups, meats, vegetables and desserts
Taste products and read menus to ensure quality
Estimate food requirements and keep production records
Maintain clean and organized workstations
Comply with food safety and sanitation guidelines
Assist with kitchen teamwork and additional duties as assigned
