Job Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience
  • 0 to 2 years of related work experience
  • Knowledge of basic operation of equipment and food-handling procedures preferred
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Good working knowledge of food preparation
  • Requires familiarity of kitchen equipment
  • Must be able to read and follow a recipe unsupervised

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

Job Duties

  • Prepare food in accordance with applicable federal, state and corporate standards
  • Follow recipes and product directions for seasoning, cooking and serving soups, meats, vegetables and desserts
  • Taste products and read menus to ensure quality
  • Estimate food requirements and keep production records
  • Maintain clean and organized workstations
  • Comply with food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Assist with kitchen teamwork and additional duties as assigned
