The role of Cook at Carillon Senior Living is an essential position within this respected community. This hourly position offers a competitive wage of $15-$16, with a flexible schedule that varies to meet operational needs. As a cook, you will be responsible for the preparation of all food items in accordance with standardized recipes, ensuring that every meal served meets the highest standards of quality, safety, and presentation. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • minimum one year restaurant or senior living cooking experience
  • able to stand or walk for up to eight hours per day
  • able to bend, stoop, and stretch frequently
  • manual dexterity for preparing food
  • ability to use standard industrial kitchen appliances
  • able to lift up to 50 lbs independently
  • may be exposed to extreme temperatures and industrial cleaning chemicals
  • able to see, hear, and communicate with others

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma
  • culinary degree preferred
  • minimum one year of cooking experience in restaurant or senior living settings
  • knowledge of cooking preparation and production
  • ability to use industrial kitchen appliances
  • physical stamina to stand or walk up to eight hours
  • manual dexterity for food preparation
