  • ability to lift and move objects up to 25 pounds

Job Duties

  • Prepare ingredients by portioning, chopping, and storing food
  • wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables
  • weigh, measure, and mix ingredients
  • prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines
  • operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers
  • test foods for doneness to ensure proper cooking
  • monitor food quality throughout preparation
  • set up and break down work stations
  • serve food in proper portions and receptacles
  • wash and disinfect kitchen areas, tools, knives, and equipment
  • check and ensure proper temperatures of appliances and food
  • follow all company safety and security policies
  • report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions
  • complete safety training and certifications
  • maintain clean and professional uniform and appearance
  • maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
  • protect company assets
  • communicate clearly and professionally with coworkers
  • develop and maintain positive working relationships
  • support team to achieve common goals
  • listen and respond appropriately to employee concerns
  • ensure adherence to quality standards
  • stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • perform physical tasks including bending, twisting, pulling, stooping, and lifting up to 25 pounds
